Gigi’s Auctions is operated by licensed auctioneer Keith Zammit, who is registered with the Commerce Department (License No. A740/2015). The name “Gigi” originates from a childhood nickname given to Keith by his water polo teammates when he was just 13 years old, the same age he began attending and purchasing items at auctions. His early fascination with antiques and collectibles deepened as he assisted a local auctioneer, sparking a lifelong passion for the trade.
In 2014, Keith opened Gigi’s Antiques & Collectables, a shop dedicated to mid-century pieces and unique collectibles, filling a gap in the Maltese market. The shop’s success further inspired Keith to obtain his auctioneering license, allowing him to work directly with antiques and the people who appreciate them.
Gigi’s Auctions specialises in fine art, antiques, mid-century, collectables and industrial auctions. Additional services include valuation reports, inventory preparation for inheritance and insurance purposes, and other related professional services.
